Abstract
The artist's statement: Typically my design process for personal projects begin with pen on paper, churning out sketch after sketch. Often there is no clear idea where I am going from the onset, but as I progress through the pages of my sketchbook a favored shape or form will slowly emerge. From there I can begin refining this idea into its eventual final form, where it will then finally enter the digital realm. The type of music I'm listening to will often affect the final stages of a piece I am working on. Different genres and tempos will sometimes send my ideas toward more dramatic compositions. The central theme of most of my work is free-flowing improvisation. As a client you can expect a more focused process. Instead of starting with nothing and hoping it leads somewhere I will try to open communication with you to find the central 'problem' we are trying to solve with design. From there I will go down my usual creative route to land on a solution that fits the core tenets and ideas of your business.
