Abstract

The artist's statement: This poster series, in many ways, was driven by the "random" vision and execution of p5.js. I heavily altered a kaleidoscope coding script to create a file that would randomly generate line work with the click of the mouse. From there, I would delete and repeat until I achieved a recognizable pattern. In this case, a crown, wings, and thorns. Those patterns then lead into broader themes of greed, expectations, and trauma.
