dc.description | Randy Teeuwen is experienced in community and stakeholder relations, most recently as a Community Relations Advisor for Encana Oil and Gas in Wyoming. Teeuwen is committed to collaborative conservation, working to balance the needs of industry, communities, agriculture and wildlife and to supporting initiatives in Wyoming that support sustainability. He serves on the advisory board of the UW Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources and helped create the Cooperative Sagebrush Initiative. Teeuwen received his master's degree in American History and his bachelor's degree in Journalism from Colorado State University. | |

dc.description.abstract | This seminar will discuss building collaborative relationships between landowners and communities surrounding energy development issues in the West. Working with landowners, residents, communities, local governments and regulatory entities builds and maintains long-term, mutually beneficial relationships and is key to understanding our complex energy world. Mr. Teeuwen will also discuss his involvement with the Cooperative Sagebrush Initiative and the Upper Green River Conservation Exchange. | |
