| dc.description.abstract | The artist's statement: As an artist, I strive to create work that brings people out of the routine of their norm, even if just for a moment. In a world that strives to overstimulate us, overwhelm us, and convince us of so many different "truths", my goal is to create the opportunity for a moment of rest or reflection. My work relies on the value of simplicity and I strive to create work that allows people to enjoy the beauty of intentional design. I am inspired by contrasting beliefs and ideas, and I use a variety of contrasting mediums, both analog and digital, to explore these ideas through my work. | en_US |
