Veronica Lopez: capstone

Abstract

The artist's statement: Someone recently stated that my design work is "elegant." Though it is not a word I expected to use for myself, it's word I appreciate and thoroughly enjoy. Elegance is hard to come by in this day and age, and if I can create designs that create a sense of elegant beauty and symmetry, then that's what I will do. Design is a complicated, psychological, tedious art that I have had the pleasure of studying for four years, and I look forward to growing in this art for the rest of my life.
