The solar village buildings were designed by George Oscar Lof, founder of the Solar Energy Applications Laboratory. The buildings included features such as cooling and heating by the sun; an air heating system and evaporative rock bed regenerative cooler; solar heating and cooling using a liquid system; and testing for solar collection panels. | |
