The artist's statement: My work is about domesticity but it isn't feminine. My drawings communicate by using domestic themes and concepts of the family. By creating types of spaces that would commonly be found in a stereo-typical American family households then deconstructing those ideologies. Usually there is a focal point and the rest of the space is left up to the viewer to fill in. Most pieces depict an over excessive environment that allows the viewer to understand the scenario.
