Impression management manifested on LinkedIn and in resumes
This study examines the effects of the use of impression management tactics on the professional networking site, LinkedIn. It makes three primary contributions to the literature. First, this study examines how a job seeker's use of impression management on LinkedIn affects inferences of his or her cognitive ability and conscientiousness.
