I have found, sometimes, that words are limiting. Poets, perhaps, come the closest to evoking true emotions and feelings with words, yet it is in my opinion that the stroke of a brush or a swirl of color can provide insight into the world in a way that words cannot. However, my inspiration is often drawn from the descriptive language found within books, stories, and every day idioms, so the purpose of my work is to enhance and illustrate the words that I love through art in a way that I find meaningful.
