    Abstract
    My paintings reflect on my experiences with objects, animals, and the human form. I love the process of translating color, form and expressive qualities that interest me. The way edges blend and meet, the consistency of the paint, and intensity of color makes the painting process challenging and engaging no matter the subject matter. In my current series, the environment in which I grew up sparked an interest in the flatirons and flowers. I am from Boulder, Colorado and my mother has floral paintings covering the entire house.
