Abstract
Display items from the first of four exhibit cases depicting the student experience at Colorado State University. The exhibit is associated with the university's 150th anniversary celebration in 2020. Focusing on the early years, included are images of Old Main in 1879; the first graduating class shown in 1884 and at a 50-year reunion in 1934; Dr. Charles Richardson Jones in 1903 as a student athlete; and a dairy lab class in 1908. A summary is given of the university's establishment in 1870 as a land-grant institution.
