Abstract
Display items from the third of four exhibit cases depicting the student experience at Colorado State University. The exhibit is associated with the university's 150th anniversary celebration in 2020. Focusing on years of expansion and turmoil, included are images of a robot from the 1951 Engineering Days; the newly built Morgan Library in 1965; students and speakers at a 1969 minority recruitment demonstration; a concert in 1975 with the band Chicago and the Beach Boys; and a student tending to greenhouse carnations in 1982. A summary is given of the university's growth from the 1950s to 1970, the destruction of Old Main, and a visit from artist Andy Warhol in 1981.
