Maxwell Olson: capstone

Abstract

The artist's statement: I love illustration and design, and my work focuses on developing my own style while also exploring new possibilities. I enjoy experimenting with different ways of making images and pushing what my work can look like. My background comes from a range of classes at Colorado State University, including pottery, printmaking, drawing, and art history. These experiences have helped me understand both the process of making and the context behind art and design. I'm interested in creating work that is visually strong and intentional, whether it's for design, print, or other forms. Overall, my goal is to keep growing as an artist by trying new things while staying true to my personal style.
