Presented at the Retractions conference: keeping the pool clean: prevention and management of misconduct related retractions held on July 20-21, 2016 at Hilton Fort Collins in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Linda Schutjer is Senior Legal Counsel for the Colorado State University System working at the Fort Collins, Colorado campus. Her areas of practice include intellectual property, research and compliance, technology transfer, contracting, real estate, campus and student safety, disabilities and discrimination, Federal regulations and compliance and international activities. Prior to joining the Colorado State University System in 2008, she spent fourteen years in the General Counsel's Office at The George Washington University. Linda spent five years in private practice, three of which were with Kirkpatrick and Lockhart in Pittsburgh, before moving to in-house practice. She holds a J.D. from Temple law school and an MPA and BA from Penn State. She has completed the course work towards her LLM in intellectual property at The George Washington University. She has presented on a number of occasions on various topics for the National Association of College and University Attorneys and for a number of years has taught a graduate level course on legal issues in higher education at Colorado State University.
