Presented at the Retractions conference: keeping the pool clean: prevention and management of misconduct related retractions held on July 20-21, 2016 at Hilton Fort Collins in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Cat Bens is the Quality Assurance Manager within the Research Integrity & Compliance Review Office (RICRO) at Colorado State University. In this position she provides quality assurance oversight and support for a wide variety of FDA and EPA regulated research conducted at the University, including GLP, GCP and GMP non-clinical, clinical studies and manufacturing activities. Before serving as the CSU Quality Assurance Manager, Ms. Bens worked for many years with private, university and government organizations as both Quality Assurance and Research Manager, designing research support programs and leading Quality Systems development an d training. Ms. Bens has a BA in Zoology, MS in Biology/Wildlife Toxicology, and post graduate education in Business/Biology/Environmental Toxicology.
