dc.description.abstract | The artist's statement: As a designer and illustrator I am most interested in 2-d, surface design. The idea of using visual elements to entice or manipulate people’s perception is fascinating and exciting; for me this makes design the perfect tool to explore the connection between human psychology and symbols, colors and 'iconography'. Decoding why these icons exist and the ways they function in our daily lives is the basis of all my work. | |
