Abstract
The artist's statement: My goal is never to sell a product, but to tell a story. Whether it's a branding project for a client, a class project, or a personal narrative, emotion and authenticity lay the groundwork for all I create. As a graphic design major, much of my practice has been centered around client work. Working with people is something I love and draw inspiration from; conversations with clients, and their stories. My personal work pulls from a variety of experiences; the warmness of connection, conversations, childhood memories, feelings of nostalgia, spiritual motifs, the natural world. As I've grown up, I've adopted a lighthearted, unserious outlook on life. In my creative work this is reflected through prioritizing joy, embracing mistakes, and collaging a variety of media during my process.
