The artist's statement: My work in fibers has become a means of self-reflection and discovery after the passing of my father during the summer of 2019. My process is working towards giving a physical vessel to the feelings of grieving and conveying to the viewer how this experience has affected both my current mentality, as well as how I have been able to process the memories that linger in my father's absence.
