Abstract

The artist's statement: Design Consulting, Creative Engineering, and Graphic Development. I strive to create an aesthetically pleaing visual realm to which a viewer can address and gain a sense of identity, vision, personal connection, and relevance towards the world outside of design. My work consists of illustrations, web identities, typographical treatments and graphic arts to convey messages towardsclients and viewers, who would otherwise be unable to convey these messages themselves. Through the use of illustration, and a background art history, I am able to call upon a multitude of different styles, techniques, and time periods to successfully convey and provide meaning towards an idea, and provide an aesthetic of which is pertinent towards the underlying message of a brand as a whole. Skilled in many different adobe products such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, I have been able to successfully provide design consulting and development with clients through freelance work for around 5 years, and have worked on a range of projects from the rebranding of a law firm, to the illustration of a graphic novel. The drive for creation has been evident throughout my life in many significant ways dating back to early childhood - and the flow of creativity can be seen throughout the majority of my works. From illustration to graphic development; from marble sculpting to photography - I have always had an extreme passion and love to imagine and create, and I have always been curious as to where it will take me next.
