    Abstract
    INTRODUCTION: To determine if liposomal (L) encapsulated alpha-lipoic acid (0.5g), benfotiamine (0.5g) and curcumin (2.0g) (ABC) would prevent the unfavorable metabolic consequences of sedentary high-fat overfeeding in healthy young adults. METHODS: 29 young (18-30 years), healthy, physically active men and women were randomly assigned to ingest placebo (n=9), ABC (n=10), or L-ABC (n=10) twice daily for 28 days.
