Accurate quantification of crop water requirement is necessary for proper irrigation water management. The knowledge of actual crop evapotranspiration (ETc) is important and is necessary for estimating irrigation water requirements. The most common procedure of obtaining actual crop evapotranspiration (ETc) is by first calculating the reference crop evapotranspiration (ETr) and then multiplying it with the appropriate crop coefficients (Kc).
