Geology of uranium deposits in the northern part of the Rocky Mountain province of Colorado
This report is a compilation of the results of studies by the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) on the uranium geology and resources in the northern part of the Rocky Mountain province of Colorado, an area of about 17,500 square miles. Current reserves and/or production are credited to 80 deposits of which 70 percent contain less than 1,000 tons of ore. The largest deposit, the Schwartzwalder, accounts for 75 percent of all production and current reserves.
