Abstract
An airborne-radiometric survey of part of the Jicarilla Apache Indian Reservation, Rio Arriba County, New Mexico, was conducted by the Atomic Energy Commission from November 8 to December 16, 1955. Three areas of anomalous radioactivity were found in the Point Lookout sandstone, apparently due to detrital titaniferous "black sand" deposits. The uranium potential of the area is unknown as there has been little prospecting.
