The Aspen No. 1 ski lift began operation December 14, 1946, and ended operation April 11, 1971. The lift is now part of the Aspen Historical Society.

The Iron Mountain Tramway is a Leitner-Poma fixed grip pulse gondola system. The gondola transports passengers to activities at the Glenwood Caverns.
