Its hip and cheek stripes are white. They also have short ears; Habitat: Wet tropics, lowlands; Diet: Herbivore: grass roots, native grasses; Reproduction: The wallaby breeds year-round. The single young remains in the mother's pouch for about 30 weeks and becomes independent at 12 months; Social Structure: Groups of wallabies shelter during the day under dense vegetation; Behavior: The agile wallaby is a night feeder; Status: No special status; Interesting Facts: These animals are considered pests because they commonly feed on crops and in pastures.
