dc.descriptionThe Beyond War Award was given out from 1983 to 1990 to honor individuals, groups, and nations in recognition of building a world beyond war. The award came out of the Beyond War Movement of the 1980s which was based on the San Francisco peninsula, and had over 24,000 members in 23 states and internationally.
