Letters, 1905, April through the start of September
Charles F. Lummis wrote and received many letters in 1905 from April through the start of September. Fannie K. Hamilton [publisher of the Old Orchard Rambler newspaper of Biddeford, Maine] wrote Lummis in April that she received money. Lummis replied that he was glad she is okay, spoke of the first meeting of the Museum Foundation Committee, the Southwest Society, and letters from Bertha. She wrote Lummis two letters in July from East Dedham. They were long, florid letters with mention of hashish, being homesick, a southwest museum, the Landmarks Club, Bertha, receiving a letter and photograph ...
