Philo-Aesthesian Society, financial records
Receipts and financial records kept by the Philo-Aesthesian Society of Colorado Agricultural College. The first several pages of the last account book in this folder show financial records for the Aesthesian Literary Society. This women's society merged with the men's Philosophian Literary Society in the autumn of 1887. The following pages of the account book reflect the merging of the two organizations in to the Philo-Aesthesian Society.The Collection of Early Student Groups documents some of the earliest established student groups and societies at the Colorado Agricultural College. Societies and groups represented include the Athletic Association, Columbian Literary Society, the Student Council, and the Philo-Aesthesian Society. Materials include membership rosters, letters, receipts, minutes, and secretary ledgers.
