Registry of food, flowers, cards, and callers received by Carrie Lory. Some entries are in Anna Lory's handwriting. These gifts may have been provided in 1935, when Carrie Lory was ill with a streptococcic infection from February to June and Charles and Carrie Lory's nephew Vern Gause stayed with the Lorys in April and May during an illness that led to his death.Charles A. Lory (1872-1969) was a professor of electrical engineering and the fifth president of Colorado Agricultural College (now Colorado State University). The collection contains both personal and professional papers and includes correspondence and letters, diaries and day planners, financial records, flyers, committee minutes, newspaper clippings, and photographs.
