Robert Sullivan: his experiences in World War II, as told in his own words
On November 20, 2014, Robert "Bob" Sullivan sat down at his home in Fort Collins, CO and told of his experiences during World War II. Bob, born and raised in south Denver, tells of his time serving at General MacArthur's headquarters, first in the Philippines and then on to Japan after the Japanese surrendered. After his service, he returned home, went to college and then went on to a fascinating and successful 35 year career with the Forest Service. He also married his lovely wife Vella. Bob and Vella have been married for 64 years and have three children and five grandchildren.
