Carl Johnson : his experiences in World War II, as told in his own words
On September 2, 2015 Carl Johnson sat down at his home in Loveland, Co and told of his experiences in World War II. Carl, born in Morrill, NE and raised in Loveland, served in the Army. He served with the 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 82nd Airborne. He joined the 82nd in the Ruhr Valley pocket and then was part of the occupations forces. He was then on a ship heading to the Pacific Theater when the Japanese surrendered.
