Six photographic prints in an album, "To Alice and Carlita with love and best wishes for a Happy 1919, “Daddy”, Chas. F. Lummis". Images are of the home that Charles Lummis built called El Alisal, bridges, and Charles Lummis' son Jordan "Quimu".Charles Lummis (1859-1928) was a noted author, photographer, ethnographer, archaeologist, and librarian. Gaining fame for walking from Ohio to California in the 1880s, Lummis spent much of his life documenting and protecting the lives and activities of the people of the Southwest United States. The collection contains letters, photographs, publications, music, and newspaper clippings.
