Dr. Harry Rosenberg (1923-2010) was a professor of classical and medieval history at Colorado State University from 1959 until his retirement in 2004. He chaired the newly-developed Department of History from 1965 to 1975, served on the Faculty Council for forty years, and contributed to the creation of the American West Program, an annual campus lecture series. His collection contains correspondence, committee and subject files, photographs, slides, and artifacts. This digital collection is comprised of a 1989 letter and essay titled “What a Land Grant Institution Is All About” from former CSU President William E. Morgan to Rosenberg.
