Paul Weathered: his experiences in World War II, as told in his own words
On December 2, 2008 Paul Weathered sat down at his home in Fort Collins, CO and told of his experiences in World War II. Paul, born and raised on a farm southwest of Wichita, KS, was newly married and farming when the war broke out. His farming status should have given him an exemption as it was vital to the war effort, but because of a disgruntled member of the local draft board, he soon found himself drafted by the Army.
