Kenton Wagner: the story of his military career, as told in his own words
On October 28, 2006, Kenton Wagner sat down and told the story of his military career. He had a combined 36 years of service to our country and served in three wars! His service began at age 16 when he enrolled in the Colorado National Guard. He then enlisted in the Army Air Corps on December 6, 1941 and served with the 304th Fighter Squadron during World War II. After the war, he returned to the Guard and his unit was called up in 1950 at the outbreak of the Korean War.
