Louis Hamman: his experiences in World War II, as told in his own words
On March 14, 2011 Louis Hamman sat down at his home in Ft. Collins, CO and told of his experiences in World War II. Lou, born in San Acacio, CO and raised in the San Luis valley and Ft. Collins, served in Co. E, 413th Infantry Regiment of the 104th Infantry Division (the Timberwolves). Lou tells the story of the Timberwolves' fight across Europe from when they landed directly in France until they met the Russians on the Elbe River and the war's end.
