Albert Holman, Jr.: his experiences in World War II, as told in his own words
On May 15, 2010 Albert Holman, Jr. sat down at his home in Loveland, CO and told of his experiences in World War II. Al, born and raised on a farm outside Brighton, CO, served in the Navy aboard the LST-960. The LSTs were the workhorses of the Navy and Al tells of his time aboard the ship as it hauled supplies and equipment throughout the Pacific, including a number of runs into Japan after the war ended.
