Cecil "Bill" Graff : his experiences in World War II, as told in his own words
On April 13, 2009 Cecil "Bill" Graff sat down at his home in Fort Morgan, CO and told of his experiences in World War II. Bill, born and raised near Weldona, CO, served in the U.S. Navy. He first served aboard a liberty ship as part of a Navy squadron assigned to guard it. He sailed across the treacherous N. Atlantic route as the ship delivered materials and supplies to Russia and England. He was commended by both the US and Russian governments. For his actions defending the ship.
