On July 20, 2011 Carl Coff sat down at his home in Loveland, CO and told of his experiences in World War II. Carl, born in Brooklyn and raised in Port Washington, NY, served in the Navy aboard the destroyer USS Collett (DD-730). He tells of his time aboard the ship from her commission to sailing throughout the Pacific Theater. After the war ended and his service was up, he re-enlisted and went on to make the Navy his career.
