Abstract

This negative is of a photograph. Group of men watching grain irrigated by sprinklers on G.V. Scarrow farm near the Grand Valley. Despite caption's claim, image was almost certainly used as a cover photo for "When to Use Sprinkler Irrigation in Colorado" by W. E. Code, 1949, though in publication, clouds were lightened.
