dc.descriptionFounded in 1870 at Indiana Asbury (now DePauw University) in Greencastle, Ind., Kappa Alpha Theta is the first Greek-letter sorority known among women. In 1917-18, the Tau Epsilon Tau sorority became a chapter of the national Kappa Alpha Theta Greek society at the Colorado Agricultural College.
