Alumni Photograph Collection
The Alumni Photograph Collection consists of approximately 5,500 photographic materials, scrapbooks, film reels, correspondence, and news clippings collected by the Colorado State University Office of Alumni Relations. Among the items documented are alumni activities, athletic events, campus life, as well as aerial views of the campus and surrounding Fort Collins area. Series 2 of this collection contains images compiled by Ruth J. Wattles while researching for her manuscript, "The Mile High College: the History of Colorado A&M,” as well as Drama Club scrapbooks which document the club's activities and members under the tutelage of Wattles. (For more information on “Mile High College” see the Papers of Ruth J. Wattles.) This digital collection, with materials dated 1884 to 1970, includes one of former President Charles A. Lory’s family Christmas cards and photographs of students and campus life.
