Since 1920, the Montezuma Valley Irrigation Company (MVIC), a mutual ditch company, has played an important role in the expansion and operation of agriculture in southwest Colorado's Montezuma Valley. The company’s records include indexed office files, field books, ledgers, maps, plans, and artifacts. Pre-1920 records document the Montezuma Valley Irrigation District, the predecessor of MVIC. For more information see the finding aid.

This digital collection, with materials dated 1889 to 1987, includes all of Montezuma Valley Irrigation Company’s indexed and early files as well as, several field books, maps, and technical drawings.
