Bryant Edgar Foster (1891-1968) served in World War I with the 89th Division, 314th Ammunition Train. After the war, he worked with the Great Western Sugar Company in northern Colorado, and in 1933 began work as an appraiser with the Federal Land Bank. The library’s archival collection contains material primarily from his army service, including correspondence, military papers, and a scrapbook. Also included are diaries by his wife, Lucy Chapin Foster, written from 1908 to 1943. This digital collection consists of a scrapbook dated 1918-1919 containing war-related photographs, postcards, and paper currency.
