Isbell, Jordan, artist2021-12-152021-12-152021https://hdl.handle.net/10217/234127Colorado State University Art and Art History Department capstone project.Capstone contains the artist's statement, a list of works, and images of works. The artist's statement: Designing is a way for me to express my creative ideas differently than most. Unlike painting, I focus on layout and grids so that the eyes can flow through the spreads of magazines, or children can look through a children's book and be drawn to the right things. It's easy to get caught up in a good drawing, but it can go south if the layout isn't perfect. Illustration takes form in many places throughout my designs. Whether it be a logo or spread in a book or a poster I find the practice of illustration to be therapeutic. Ideas for me come from anything and everything. Memories or experiences live in my head, and I grab inspiration from these.born digitalStudent worksengCopyright and other restrictions may apply.
