Teeuwen is committed to collaborative conservation, working to balance the needs of industry, communities, agriculture and wildlife and to supporting initiatives in Wyoming that support sustainability. He serves on the advisory board of the UW Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources and helped create the Cooperative Sagebrush Initiative.
