A nationwide program, EnvironMentors seeks to boost participation in environmentally-related STEM fields through academic mentorship. Chapter one provides an overview of the issue and need for this research. In chapter two, survey data is analyzed in order to determine the importance of student demographics. In chapter three, an interpretive review of the mentor experience is explored.
