Huber, Michelle, artist2019-05-082019-05-082019https://hdl.handle.net/10217/194924Colorado State University Art and Art History Department capstone project.Capstone contains the artist's statement, a list of works, and images of works. The artist's statement: Graphic design is visually conveying a message to its intended audience. Design is used in print publications, online platforms, and in the physical world to send visual messages and enhance aesthetics. I see my creative works used as marketing tools. I want to be able to use the technical skills I have acquired to make a business more relatable to its customer through graphics. Technology is a useful tool in my creating process, but so is physical materials. I enjoy exploring different creation methods because at times physical objects can convey messages differently and more effectively than the computer. I am fascinated by typography and how hand lettering creates a visual language that speaks differently than other well-known typefaces.born digitalStudent worksengCopyright and other restrictions may apply.
