For me, the interest in graphic design is in the challenge of communicating a specific feeling or value system to the viewer. In my work, I lend toward design that contains clean and thoughtful type choice and composition. It is intended to be creative, but simple and to the point. In my academic work at Colorado State, I have worked on a variety of projects that emphasized conceptual problem-solving and technical proficiency. These projects have taught me valuable skills and helped me develop as a designer.
