It was clear that I had some sort of learning disability, and after being tested, I was diagnosed with dyslexia. It was difficult for me to understand why I was different from my classmates, and I found myself gravitating towards horses as a release. My mom bought me my first horse just after I was diagnosed - hoping it would me help me cope with the difficulty of school. Horses have brought me so much happiness and I believe they are the true definition of a gentle giant. I hope to express the beauty and compassion that I see in this animal through my work. This show is my attempt to honor the animal that has done so much for me.born digitalStudent worksengCopyright and other restrictions may apply.
